Stop the chewing — Ethan’s way

The protocol

1. 1
   Eyes on + leash on whenever they’re out of the crate.

   You have to catch it — ideally when they think about it: walking up to the chair leg, tail wagging.

   “No” — loud, once.

   Punishing after they’ve already chewed means they got the reward first.

3. 3
   Take the leash and walk three steps away from the furniture.

   Walk, don’t yank. Hold and be boring until they stop thinking about it.
