The short version- We store your account, your dog’s profile, your progress, your AI coach conversations and any clips you upload — so the Service works.
- We use a handful of processors: payments (Stripe), video hosting, email, and an LLM provider for the AI coach.
- We never sell your data. You can export or delete everything from Account.
1. What we collect
- Account: name, email, password hash or magic-link tokens, timezone, plan and billing status.
- Dog profile: name, breed, age, photo, the problems and goals you select.
- Progress: lessons watched, practice check-ins, streaks, badges, certificates.
- AI conversations: the questions you ask Ethan AI Coach and its answers, plus your thumbs-up/down.
- Uploads: video clips you submit for review or the live session.
- Usage: device, pages viewed, and errors — to keep the app working.
2. Who processes it
Payments: Stripe (we never see your full card number). Video: a CDN/hosting provider. Email: a transactional and marketing email provider. AI coach: a large-language-model provider that receives your question and the relevant lesson excerpts to generate an answer; conversations are not used to train their models under our agreement.
3. How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. After deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except invoices we must keep for tax purposes.
4. Your choices
Export your data or delete your account from Account → Data. Change notification preferences any time. Marketing email is opt-in and has an unsubscribe link.
5. No sale of data
We do not sell or rent personal data. Ever.
